1. Web Store Orders (Tax Included)

All prices on our website already include sales tax. The price you see on the product page is the final price for the item—no state tax will be added at checkout when ordering on our online store.

2. Understanding "Buy with Shop" vs. "The Shop App"

Because the names sound similar, it's helpful to know how they differ and how tax applies to each:

• "Buy with Shop" (Shop Pay) — Tax Included

  The purple "Buy with Shop" button on our website is simply a secure payment method (similar to Apple Pay or Google Pay). Using Shop Pay to complete your order on our website does NOT charge extra tax—sales tax remains included.

• The Shop Mobile App — Tax Calculated Separately

  The Shop App is a standalone mobile marketplace app (iOS/Android) where you can browse thousands of stores. If you place an order inside the Shop App itself, sales tax is calculated and collected directly by the Shop App platform at checkout.
